Suffering from recurring pump failure, Flow-Right were engaged to overhaul the pump station. The station was converted from a wet well system to a dry well system with the pumps positioned outside of the existing 12000 litre tank. Independent outlet lines for each pump were installed as well as a dedicated extraction line for maintenance.

In the very early days of our service to Claridges, we carried out man-entry to the main sewer to remove a non-return valve at the end of their line. The non-return valve was seized in place causing frequent blockages. Nowadays we would use robotic cutters to resolve this kind of issue!

When the hotel was built, we worked on a consultancy basis with the main contractor designing the plumbing and drainage systems. We then went on to work on the installation with the main contractors and still continue to maintain their systems to this day.

After having a series of floods from inspection chambers in the outer well, Flow-Right were engaged to examine the issue. A survey concluded that there was an artesian well that runs under a large portion of Knightsbridge. Previous contractors had tried to extract it to find out what it was.
